Choosing A System
There are a few things to consider when choosing your radiant heating system. One: Heat Source, this can be gas or electric and will vary on sizing depending on what type of emitter(s) and square footage you are trying to heat. Boilers will have varying water delivery temperatures and BTU outputs. Two: Emitter Type, this will help determine what type of panel and boiler you need. Three: Plumbing, we offer a wide variety of pre-plumbed primary/secondary panels to accommodate nearly any system. Your panel(s) will be based off of your emitter and boiler types as well as how you want to zone your system. Four: Manifold, you want to be sure to use a hydronic manifold on your system. This is a manifold that allows you to adjust each loop individually but also has sight flow gauges so you can tell how much flow is going through each loop. Controlling flow is a crucial part to hydronic heating. All of these factors should be considered before choosing a radiant heating system.
