Error Codes 10, 99, 101 or 991 for HS Gas Boilers

 1. Check the gas type of the water heater.
   2. Check how long the water heater has been installed and in use.
   3. Check the installation place.
   4. Check the altitude/elevation where the water heater is installed.
   5. Check the vent length.
   6. Check if there is any blockage in the intake air and/or exhaust.
   7. Check if there is dust and lint in the burner and heat exchanger,
        especially when the water heater is installed in a laundry room.
   8. Check if there is grease and dirt in the burner and fan motor,
       especially when the water heater is installed in a restaurant.
   9. Check the manifold gas pressure in the water heater.

Clearing the Code:

Locate the INC and DEC buttons located on the PCBD inside the unit. Press and Hold the INC and DEC buttons simultaneously for 5 sec then release. Locate the POWER SWITCH above the PCBD and turn power OFF and then back ON. Once boiler is powered on. Initiate a call for heat with your thermostat. If Boiler does come on and error code is still displayed. Check steps 1 thru 9 above again.
