One Zone Systems

A one zone system is used when you only want to control the heat in your space with one thermostat and have one water delivery temperature. One emitter style is permitted within this system. Low temperature boilers will utilize the Tubing-In-Concrete emitter while the high temperature boilers can utilize all emitter options.

*Components*
1. Boiler (Gas or Electric)
2. Master Panel
3. Manifold (distribution center)
4. PEX (use oxygen barrier) tubing
5. Emitter (Tubing in Concrete, Staple Up, Baseboard or Radiator)

*How it Works*
1. Heated water from the boiler circulates through the pump.
2. Water enters the manifold, dividing into separate tubes.
3. Tubes distribute heated water throughout the radiant flooring.
4. Heat radiates upward, warming the space.
5. Cooled water returns to the manifold and boiler for reheating.
